Solar Pile Installation Equipment Package

Start with the pile drawing and approved installation method.

Quick answer

A solar pile installation package should connect the pile drawing, ground information and approved method to the machine, mast, holder and any separate predrilling equipment. Listed drilling depth is not the same as maximum pile handling length or mast working height.

Build the equipment schedule.

Each line below is a scope item to confirm, not a standard included accessory or a pre-priced kit.

Separate the dimensions buyers often confuse.

Pile overall length, target embedment, drilling depth, mast working height and transport height answer different questions. The PV-60 supplier table gives a combined drilling / piling depth label; it does not establish maximum pile length or handling height. Obtain a dimensioned operating drawing for the actual pile.

Do not treat the model name as attachment evidence.

Ask which installation attachment is offered and how it interfaces with the pile profile. A listing that mentions several pile types does not prove that every tool, hammer or holder is included. Identify optional and excluded items in the offer.

Plan refusal decisions before ordering alternatives.

DNV describes foundation risks associated with predrilling after pile refusal. Its discussion supports a project-specific review rather than a universal predrill depth or diameter. Obtain the responsible designer’s accepted response and testing requirements before specifying alternative equipment.

Use the catalogue examples to open a discussion.

PV-15 and PV-60 occupy different listed weight and dimensional classes. Those fields help frame access and transport questions, but do not prove load-bearing performance or piles installed per day. The PV-15 engine field has an invalid unit and is withheld pending a corrected sheet.
