DTH Blasthole Drilling Equipment Package

Match the hole schedule, hammer and air system.

Quick answer

A DTH blasthole equipment enquiry should define the hole schedule and match the rig, hammer, bit shank, drill string and air supply as one documented system. Confirm whether an air compressor is integrated, supplied separately or excluded; do not assume inclusion from a product table.

Build the equipment schedule.

Each line below is a scope item to confirm, not a standard included accessory or a pre-priced kit.

Keep the diameter range tied to the model.

The supplier lists YQD-115 for 90–115 mm holes and YQD-165 for 140–165 mm holes. These are separate catalogue ranges. Do not infer that a different bit alone converts one machine into the other configuration.

Close the air-system inclusion question.

The YQD supplier tables contain compressor-system fields. Ask whether those fields describe installed equipment, an optional system or an external recommendation. Record the compressor model and its inclusion explicitly before comparing prices.

Check the entire connection chain.

A matching nominal bit diameter does not confirm a matching hammer shank or rod thread. Request drawings and exact part references. Rockmore publishes model-specific operation manuals; use the manual for the actual hammer offered, rather than applying another manufacturer’s limits to it.

Define the equipment boundary.

This package covers drilling equipment procurement. Hole patterns, blasting arrangements, explosives and site acceptance are outside this equipment schedule. Set the required drilling and dust-control scope with the responsible site team.
