Create the baseline
Record equipment identity, meter reading and units, manual title and revision, applicable serial range and the responsible maintenance person. Keep an unknown item open for confirmation rather than entering an assumed specification.
Build a manual-based schedule
For each approved task record its manual page, the operating-hour and calendar triggers stated there, and any conditions requiring a different schedule. Leave due values blank until the applicable instruction has been verified. This worksheet does not set service intervals.
Record completion and review
Enter the date, meter reading, work completed, approved part or lubricant reference actually used, technician and supporting report. Obtain the next due value and return-to-service decision through the applicable instructions and competent person. RigSpan does not certify equipment as safe through this record.
Use the editable record.
Download the CSV and open it in spreadsheet software. It contains column headings with no invented equipment details or service intervals. Add a row for each equipment identity, maintenance task or fault report as appropriate. Keep uncertain items marked for confirmation.
Editing the file stays on your device. This website has no file-upload form. The enquiry form prepares a text summary; if you want to share a completed file, review it and attach it yourself in WhatsApp after deciding what to send.

UK Health and Safety Executive — 2024-11-19; accessed 18 October 2026. UK work-equipment guidance informs the general principles of manufacturer-based planning, competent maintenance and current records. It is not a worldwide legal requirement or a service schedule for these machines.
The identification fields, worksheets and enquiry sequence are RigSpan editorial aids. They are not manufacturer-issued instructions, service approval or proof of an authorised repair network. Specific intervals, oil grades, quantities, torques and settings require the applicable manual and competent review.
